The Sounds and Zephyrs play Game 3 of their four-game series tonight as they take the field at First Tennessee Park at 7:05. Each team has won a game so far. The Sounds lost, 7-5, on Saturday night in an 18-inning, 5 1/2-hour marathon but rebounded Sunday, 6-2, behind seven excellent innings from Kendall Graveman. Tonight it’s Brad Mills (1-4, 5.06) against Jose Urena (3-0, 1.19), the Pacific Coast League’s ERA leader. Pregame at 102.5 The Game starts at 6:50.
Tonight’s interview is this week’s Monday chat with Sounds manager Steve Scarsone, who discusses the first two games of the series, including how a manager has to deal with extra innings in the minor leagues, and the Sounds’ continuing comfort level in their new home park.
