Game 2 from Tacoma tonight, as the Sounds look to even the four-game series against the Rainiers. First pitch at 8:05 CT, pregame at 7:50 on 102.5 The Game.
Tonight’s interview is with Charlie Greene, the Brewers’ minor league field coordinator and catching instructor who is also filling in for Mike Guerrero as Sounds manager this series while Guerrero attends to a personal matter. Greene discusses his role with the Brewers, the Brewers’ catchers in the major leagues and Triple-A, filling in as a manger compared to his normal role, how some other Brewers affiliates are doing and, as a former major league catcher, whether he thinks catchers are viewed and scouted differently today than years ago.
