Tonight’s interview is with one of the newest Sounds, catcher Humberto Quintero. The 33-year-old veteran backstop joined the Sounds a couple of weeks ago and has been with four different organizations since March — Astros (MLB), Royals (MLB), Marlins (Triple-A New Orleans) and Brewers (Triple-A Nashville). Quintero discusses what his season has been like, how he felt Wily Peralta threw the ball on Saturday night (7ip, 1er) in the Sounds’ come-from-behind win, what he looks for in a club that may sign him as a free agent and which catchers had the greatest influence on him when he first got to the big leagues.
