Here are photos of Principal Park in Des Moines, Iowa, home of the Triple-A Iowa Cubs and located where the Des Moines River meets the Raccoon River.

After getting rained out Friday, the Sounds and I-Cubs battle tonight at 7:05 from Des Moines, and the Sounds are looking to snap a hideous 10-game losing streak. Here is today’s pregame interview — a chat with infielder Taylor Green.

Quick turn-around from last night’s game as the Sounds and Storm Chasers conclude a four-game series this morning at 11:05…my pregame guest today is, without a doubt, the hottest hitter on the Sounds right now…Brooks Conrad. He is 6-for-15 in the series and in nine games with the Sounds is hitting .393 with two homers and six RBIs.

Here are some photos of Werner Park in Papillion, Nebraska (just south of Omaha), home of the reigning PCL champion Omaha Storm Chasers. This quaint, clean ballpark enjoyed its inaugural season in 2011.
This is shot from the left field corner, which is where the clubhouses are for both teams. You can see the gate in the lower right where players come through for field access.
There are several spots in the stadium where Omaha native and Hall of Fame pitcher Bob Gibson is honored.
One of the coolest features of the stadium -- a double-decker bullpen. Visitors up and on the right...Storm Chasers down and on the left...
The landscaping and design of certain areas make the stadium, in my opinion, resemble a major league Spring Training stadium.
